Winter has arrived in Roseburg OR. The rains have started. We are a bit lucky actually, so far we have been either too far North, or too far South to catch all the really bad snow and ice storms that have been going on in Oregon. We have been getting a lot of rain and the temps are in the high 30’s to mid 40’s in the daytime hours and low 30’s at night. So really not that bad compared to some areas. I wanted to share a few pictures though of the river just outside the RV park. The water has risen and did come up over the banks a couple of days ago past all the blackberry bushes. In 2 of the pictures you can see a stick with a white rag tied to it. The owners of the park stuck it out in their back yard to see how high the water gets. So far it’s made it up to the stick, before going back down the next day. Looks like right now we have no rain in the forecast for a couple of days. 🙂 So maybe the water will go back down some before then. Rain or not I still love the area at least it isn’t snowing and in the single digit temps.
